Children come into the gardens for £2.75 We like parents and grandparents to be able to enjoy the gardens with their children so you will find child friendly low-tech activities throughout the gardens. It is also an excellent place for children to let off steam. If you walk right around the garden it is about one mile and there are plenty of short cuts to the tearoom and toilets. We have balls to kick around, a turf maze to run around, a den, yew tunnel, swing and little things for sale at a reasonable price in the gift shop. The Wren Trail (collect stamps from little wren boxes around the gardens to form a word and get a certificate) and Pumpkin Rolling on the terraces in October is very popular.
Easter Sunday and Monday:
Looking for an ‘egg-citing’ way to entertain the kids this Easter? Easton Walled Gardens are hosting their inaugural Easter Egg Hunt, which runs alongside the ever-popular Wren Trail.
Navigate the woodlands and gardens, looking for hidden letters dotted around the grounds, which have been left by a naughty bunny. Chocolate prizes will be given to those that finish the hunt. Suitable for 3-12 year olds. Entry £1.50 plus admission. The wren trail is free.
There are many things to keep parents entertained on the day too, including a tearoom, shop and various gardener’s delights including The Pickery, Cottage Garden and Meadow.
