'The best scones we have tasted outside Devon.'Visitor 2010
Our five star rated tearoom is open from 11.00 am - 4.00 pm when the gardens are open.
The tearoom serves delicious, quality food. We offer soup (using local produce and homemade) jacket potatoes, gardeners lunch, baguettes and salads for lunch and cakes and scones for tea.
In the summer we sell refreshing homemade elderflower cordial, citron presse and icecreams.
We are keen to support local producers and suppliers. Our bread is baked locally, our cakes are made here with free range eggs, our honey comes from bees that use the gardens and our salads from the gardens during the summer.
At present, the tearoom is open for visitors to the gardens only.
For Groups:
We can supply a tailor made menu for groups. We do not have facilities for ambitious lunches but we can make really good quiches, homemade salads, fruit pavlovas and gardeners ploughmans. You tell us what sort of budget you have and how substantial a meal you would like and we can provide it.

For full restaurant facilities we can recommend the estate pub, The Cholmeley Arms. Click here for more information
